I am a native of Linden, Alabama and a graduate of Linden High School. I received my bachelor of science degree in special education from the University of West Alabama and my master of education degree in special education collaboration from Alabama State University. This is my twelfth year teaching children with special needs. Working in the field of special education, I have worked with a variety of exceptionalities. Special education is my calling and I love working with special needs children. I enjoy helping my students to become more independent.  I believe that all children can learn. Not always when they need to learn it, but at some degree they can learn something about it. I feel it's my job to teach my students what they can learn.
